Doubletree By Hilton Bakersfield Hotel

Everything was great, the parking was onsite, the room was well-appointed. Liked our room that was updated and clean and available with nice coffee maker and a good view, as example. The service we got was great.

Everything about my stay at the doubletree was an excellent experience. The quality of the hotel for the money was great.

There was no handicap parking on rhe back entry but parking was manageable and it would not stop me from staying there agaun.

good quality and value food in the restaurant, staff very genuine, clean and tidy hotel. Loved the hotrod display and dragster cars.

The hotel bar was closed on sunday evening and our sink plug didn't work but this didn't reflect on the rest of the experience etc which was excellent.

Waited 15 mins to check in only one person assisting a line of guests. Request ground level room was put on 4th floor. Requested a receipt upon checkout was told no had to call booking. Received receipt via email and was over charged. Called hotel they wouldn't assist so had to once again call Booked.net.

The rooms were recently renovated, with a refreshing and clean atmosphere, while the friendly staff ensured a cute experience throughout my stay, making it easy to navigate the hotel with accessible features for seniors.

More comfortable seating in common areas would be nice.

The smoke detector went off twice accidentally. The first time the entire fire department showed up before any staff called my room. After the fire department came in and inspected my room and saw that there was no fire and no one was smoking they left. Then two hours later the alarm tripped again but this time staff called my room before fire department showed up. Both times however no alarm sounded or alerted me in my room. This bothered and irritated me despite the fact of false alarms. What if there was an actual fire while I was asleep. Hmmmmmm

The a/c in room 312 doesn't work.

It was clean and inviting. The fitness room is fantastic, and the staff were really nice. Our room had a smart TV which allowed us to watch Netflix. The location was very convenient for our travels. A pleasant stay.
